Safari permits, forest lodge reservations, accommodations, and certain tourism services are governed by the policies, regulations, and availability determined by the relevant authorities and service providers.
BOOKING REQUEST & CONFIRMATION
Submission of an inquiry form, booking request, reservation request, or payment does not automatically guarantee confirmation of any safari permit, forest lodge reservation, accommodation, transportation service, or travel package.
All bookings remain subject to availability, verification, supplier acceptance, permit approval (where applicable), and final confirmation.
SAFARI PERMIT CANCELLATION POLICY
Safari permits are governed by Forest Department regulations and applicable authority policies.
Once a safari permit has been confirmed:
- Safari permits are generally non-refundable.
- Safari permits are generally non-transferable.
- Visitor details cannot normally be modified after permit issuance unless permitted by the issuing authority.
- Government fees, permit charges, and guide charges are governed by applicable authority rules.
- Any refund relating to permit fees shall depend solely on the policies of the issuing authority.
TOUR MY CORBETT SERVICE CHARGES
Our service charges may include:
- Booking Assistance
- Reservation Processing
- Customer Support
- Travel Coordination
- Documentation Assistance
- Supplier Communication
These charges are separate from government fees and supplier charges where applicable.
CANCELLATION BEFORE PROCESSING
If a customer requests cancellation before any reservation processing or permit application process has commenced:
- Service charges may be refunded after deducting applicable payment gateway fees, banking charges, and administrative processing costs.
CANCELLATION AFTER PROCESSING BEGINS
Once booking processing, reservation handling, supplier coordination, or permit application work has commenced:
- Service charges become non-refundable because the requested services have already been rendered.
SAFARI CANCELLATION BY AUTHORITIES
Safari operations may occasionally be suspended due to:
- Weather Conditions
- Forest Route Closures
- Wildlife Safety Requirements
- Government Restrictions
- Administrative Decisions
In such cases:
- Refund eligibility for permit fees shall depend upon the applicable authority policy.
- Service charges remain non-refundable once services have been delivered.
HOTEL, RESORT, PACKAGE & TRANSPORTATION CANCELLATIONS
Unless otherwise specified by the relevant supplier, the following standard cancellation schedule may apply:
- More than 45 days before travel: Up to 90% refund
- 30–45 days before travel: Up to 80% refund
- 15–30 days before travel: Up to 65% refund
- 7–15 days before travel: Up to 15% refund
- Less than 7 days before travel or No Show: No refund
The above refund percentages are indicative only.
Actual refund eligibility may vary according to the cancellation policies of hotels, resorts, transportation providers, safari operators, and other service providers involved in the booking.
FOREST LODGE RESERVATIONS
Forest lodge reservations are governed by the applicable authority responsible for the accommodation.
This may include properties such as:
- Dhikala Forest Lodge
- Bijrani Forest Lodge
- Jhirna Forest Lodge
- Dhela Forest Lodge
Cancellation eligibility and refund processing shall be subject to the rules applicable at the time of booking.
BOOKING FAILURE
If a booking cannot be completed due to:
- Technical Errors
- Inventory Unavailability
- Supplier Rejection
- Permit Rejection
- Payment Verification Failure
Any amount successfully received for an unconfirmed booking may be refunded to the original payment source, subject to payment gateway processing timelines.
PEAK SEASON BOOKINGS
Special cancellation terms may apply during:
- Christmas
- New Year
- Diwali
- Holi
- Long Weekends
- Public Holidays
Applicable terms shall be communicated before booking confirmation.
FORCE MAJEURE
Tour My Corbett shall not be liable for cancellations, interruptions, delays, or changes resulting from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:
- Natural Disasters
- Floods
- Heavy Rainfall
- Landslides
- Government Restrictions
- Public Disturbances
- Road Closures
- Wildlife Management Restrictions
Where reasonably possible, we may assist customers in exploring alternative arrangements.
IDENTITY VERIFICATION
All travelers must carry valid government-issued photo identification during travel.
Failure to provide required identification may result in denial of entry, accommodation, safari participation, or related services by the concerned authority or service provider.
INCORRECT INFORMATION
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information.
Incorrect details including:
- Name Mismatch
- Incorrect Age
- Invalid Identification Information
may affect booking validity and may lead to cancellation under applicable supplier or authority policies.
NO-SHOW POLICY
No refund shall be available for services missed due to:
- Late Arrival
- Failure to Report
- Voluntary Non-Participation
- Failure to Carry Required Documents
subject to the policies of the relevant supplier or authority.
REFUND PROCESSING
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds are generally processed within 7–10 working days.
- Actual credit timelines depend on the customer’s bank, payment gateway, payment provider, and payment method.
